Terms of Service — Kijun Reorder Planner

Kijun ("we", "us", "our") operates the Shopify application Kijun Reorder Planner (the "App"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the App. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how the App handles data.

By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing the App on your Shopify store, or by accessing or using it in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms form an agreement between you — the merchant operating the Shopify store — and the Operator.

You must be able to enter into a binding contract and be authorised to act for the Shopify store on which the App is installed.

2. Service description

The App is a Shopify-embedded reorder-planning tool. It reads your products, variants, inventory, locations, and recent order line-item quantities to calculate sales velocity and suggest reorder quantities, then groups the results into a supplier buy list you can review, adjust (include / exclude items and edit order quantities), save, and export.

The buy list can be exported as a CSV or PDF. These exports are buy lists, not Shopify purchase orders: the App does not create native Shopify purchase orders, does not write back to or change your inventory, and does not send emails to your suppliers. The App is read-only with respect to your Shopify store — it does not create, edit, or delete your products, orders, customers, or inventory.

The App is a decision-support tool. You must review the suggested quantities before placing any order. The App does not guarantee inventory availability, supplier fulfillment, revenue, or any financial outcome.

The App is not endorsed by or affiliated with Shopify, and nothing in the App claims Shopify endorsement or "Built for Shopify" status. The App's features may change, expand, or be discontinued over time as the product evolves.

3. Pricing and billing

Any plans, prices, or trial for the App are published on the App's Shopify App Store listing, which is the authoritative source — please review it before subscribing. These Terms do not themselves state or promise any price, paid plan, or free tier.

Where a subscription applies, charges are billed by Shopify and appear on your regular Shopify invoice. We do not separately collect or store your payment-card details. Installs on Shopify development stores are free.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time by uninstalling the App from your Shopify admin. Uninstalling stops any future billing for the App.

Any subscription charges are processed by Shopify and are not prorated for partial billing periods. Refunds, where they apply, are handled in accordance with Shopify's billing policies. Uninstalling the App also begins the data-deletion process described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Data usage

What data the App uses, why, how long it is kept, and how it is deleted is described in full in our Privacy Policy. By using the App you also agree to that policy.

In summary: the App requests minimal, read-only Shopify access scopes, does not read or store your shoppers' personal information (no customer names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, or payment data), and deletes your shop's records after uninstall when Shopify delivers the shop/redact webhook.

6. User responsibilities

  • You are responsible for reviewing the suggested order quantities and the buy list before placing any order with a supplier — the recommendations are only as reliable as your store's product, inventory, and sales data.
  • You are responsible for keeping your Shopify account and store credentials secure.
  • You agree to use the App in compliance with applicable laws and with the Shopify Terms of Service.
  • You are responsible for any purchasing or commercial decisions you make based on the App's output. The App is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for your own judgement or for professional advice.

7. Limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the App — including any purchasing decision based on a buy list or suggested quantity. The Operator's total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, when features change or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date below changes whenever we do.

Material changes will be communicated through the App (an in-app notice) and/or by email to the shop-owner address on file. Continuing to use the App after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
